From Thanksgiving on the beach, to a fall themed cruise this year, what could possibly be next? Maybe I just should plan a ski trip styled entirely in swimwear. Each of our trips lately have been so much fun, but challenging to style, with a reverse wardrobe for each.
A million Thanksgivings and I remember each one for different reasons. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday and a special family tradition. It allows me to stop for a few days, breathe and remember why I’m grateful for the moments and the people in my life. My greatest challenge is to live in the present. I’ve written about this many times, and I think I’m learning to do that. It is important to be grateful for what you have and appreciate each second that you’re living. Take time to thank the people who make your life better just by being a part of it. I have many of those people in my life, and I hope you do too.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and it always has been. Family is the most important part of my life, and there’s nothing I love more than spending time with them. The holiday is right around the corner and we want to know how you celebrate. What are your favorite traditions? Do you celebrate with family or friends? Are you hosting a Thanksgiving dinner this year? If so, I’ve gathering a few of my favorite serving pieces to make your Thankgiving Day fancy and fabulous. I love these pieces and I hope your guests will too! We have a few, upcoming posts for the holiday so we hope you stay tuned, and celebrate with us. As always Beauties, I’m thankful for your love and support. Wishing you a safe and happy holiday. xx
What do you pack for an epic adventure on Royal Caribbean’s fancy new ship? I had no idea. I was mind boggled, and entirely overwhelmed with every activity and excursion planned for the trip. Add the Fall theme, but 70 degree New York temps into the mix, and my fall packing plans were thrown for a loop. I hope you read up on my previous posts, chatting about our fancy trip aboard Anthem of the Seas. If not, you can play catch up, here.
Did you know I can fly? It’s a recent talent of mine. Alright, fine. I’m not an angel, as much as I’d like to believe that. However, I recently fell in love with skydiving while onboard Royal Caribbean’s latest and greatest ship, Anthem of the Seas. We were treated to a fancy weekend on the cruise ship with a handful of other fashion influencers, and we had a truly epic weekend, which you can read about in my previous post.
One weekend, a handful of style influencers, and one luxurious ship in a league of it’s own. We were lucky enough to be invited on a weekend adventure with Royal Caribbean to explore their latest and greatest ship, The Anthem of the Seas, which is currently docked in Bayonne, New Jersey. We were wined and dined, we celebrated and explored, and met so many incredible people. It was truly a memorable weekend.
All aboard! We have been invited on an adventure with Royal Caribbean, and are currently counting down the days before we set sail on their latest and greatest ship, the Anthem of the Seas. I’ve never been on a cruise before, so I’m excited for this one. With a boat full of a few of my blogger besties, fabulous food and fun activities, it should be quite the ride.
All black everything. I can only take it for so long. I begin the Fall season embracing the color, and by February, I want to cry. Sure, there are days when I feel amazing in a little black dress, or leather skirt, however after awhile it can feel like a uniform. If you’re like me, and you crave color, I’ve come up with a few great ensembles to lighten and brighten your fall wardrobe, while still looking appropriate for the season.
Here’s what my morning routine consisted of during our tropical stay at the Four Seasons Maui. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. We had no agenda and made no plans. Generally in New York, I wake up in a state of panic, bolting off to work, the gym, or some other commitment I’ve made. I’m terrible at relaxation and I’m quickly bored by empty spaces and silence. I keep as busy as possible and that’s exactly the way I like it. I over plan, over commit, and over think absolutely everything in my life (I sound like a gem, huh?). However, during our stay in paradise, I didn’t care about any sort of a plan. I hardly worked out, and somehow I was ok with it all. In fact, I was more than ok with it…I loved it. It was a sense of relaxation that I’ve never felt in my life. I suppose it’s necessary to give your body a break from time to time. A little R & R was just what the doctor ordered.
We just closed out a beautiful Fall weekend in NYC. The air feels crisp, the leaves are beginning to turn, and I can’t go anywhere without a warm cup of hazelnut coffee; mainly to keep my hands warm. We strolled through Central Park this weekend per usual, and as I looked up, the leaves fell from the trees and gracefully floated to the ground in an array of fall colors.
