I was so excited for our trip to Miami, I could hardly wait. We stayed at the gorgeous Fontainebleau resort in Miami Beach. A girls’ trip, in the sunshine was just what I needed.
Packing was a bit of a challenge, since the resort collections had not completely hit stores yet, but I knew I wanted some bright, new outfits for my beach vacation. I found a gorgeous, colorful maxi dress, which was perfect as a cover up for the pool. I fell in love with a pair of colorful wedges, and found a brilliant blue, jeweled swimsuit by Target Style. I carried an aqua tote bag to complete my resort look.

The resort was incredible and the beach was breathtaking. I woke up early one morning for stroll in the sand with just enough time to catch sunrise. I felt lucky to be there and was inspired by the beauty of the morning. In New York, it can be easy to take moments like this for granted, while constantly on a schedule. It felt wonderful to have the time to myself.
The rest of the girls’ trip was full activities, including fancy dinners, and parties. We dined at Cecconi’s in the Soho Beach House, as well as Baoli. Both were fabulous, and I would highly recommend them. We had lounged over cocktails at Sky Bar, and the Delano Hotel. The Delano is another hot spot to check out, and happens to be one of my favorites. The trip was a perfect balance of relaxation, and celebration; exactly what a girls’ trip should be.
