The holiday season is upon us, and you know what that means. Get ready to pull out those suitcases, wrap those presents, and kick back those sparkling stilettos. It’s time to celebrate! For many, you’re still juggling work, with those pre-season holiday parties, right up until Christmas and Chanukkah. It doesn’t stop there. You’ve still got New Year’s to think about. With weeks chalked full of events, I like to plan my day-time and party outfits with simplicity.
The key is to find that perfect holiday dress which will take you from day-time to night-time, and still keep you feeling fresh and glamourous. For me, that perfect piece is Yumi Kim’s Astro Dress. I absolutely fell in love with this style. With it’s Dodger Blue silk print, and fitted silhouette, the Astro Dress is sophisticated, feminine, and fabulous.
For my day-time outing in Greenwich Village, I paired my Astro Dress, with gray, suede ankle boots, a Guess, quilted, leather jacket, and my Reiss bag slung across my shoulder. The leather jacket, along with the booties, gives the style an edgy look.
For my date in the Meatpacking District, I paired my Christian Louboutin Bianca Pumps, removed the jacket, layered sparkling necklaces, and stacked on the glittering bracelets for my evening look.
