Am I right? Each year, since I’ve lived in New York, we pack our bags for the journey back home for the holidays, however this year, we’ve got something sneaky up our sleeve. Our journey is two fold! Aside from Thanksgiving, and a long weekend with the fam, we’re traveling to a super sneaky, top secret destination for one, giant adventure. We can’t tell you when, we can’t tell you where, but we are beyond excited, and can’t wait to share.
One chilly evening, I peeked out the window to see tiny, white snowflakes, gently falling to the ground. That particular weekend felt chaotic to me, with no sense of slowing down anytime soon. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in projects. I’ll admit that there are days when I have a love/hate relationship with the city. There are moments when it’s loud and crazy, with honking horns and stories that you can’t quite make up. Then there are those sunny Sundays in the fall. The air is crisp, and the leaves burst with color. The city is quiet, and I remember why I fell in love with New York City.
This past weekend, I celebrated my birthday here in NYC. I felt beyond loved by everyone in my life, and received so many special wishes. Each and every one meant so much. It’s not about material gifts in life that mean so much to me; it’s the people in my life that I cherish the most. They are truly my greatest gift.

Sorel is a footwear brand that has recently stolen my heart. I’ve never been a girl who dresses practically. I love sparkly, fancy outfits which are rarely weather appropriate. While attending a Vogue style party, I was introduced to Sorel’s Fall/Winter boot collection. Sorel is best known for their waterproof boots. People always ask if I have a specific brand that I love. My answer is always the same. I fall in love with a style, not because of the label, but because of the design details.

It is irreplaceable, because of the way the dress makes me feel. When I wear my little black dress, I feel beautiful, sophisticated and sexy at the same time.
