If you could choose the coordinates of your dream location, what would they be? Think of your absolute favorite place on earth. My dream location just so happens to be Central Park, right across from Tavern on the Green.
Halloween. You like it or you don’t. Generally I’m not a fan, however for a good cause, and the right friends, I’ll slip into a costume for a night of spook-tacular chaos. Just watching people in their crazy costumes is worth the laugh.

It arrived in the mail and it was perfection. I slipped it on, and I felt like a million bucks. From the moment my doorman handed me the package, I just couldn’t take it it off. It was love at first sight. If I could sleep in this pretty little number, I would. It’s the first dress to have stolen my heart since “Norma,” my wedding gown.
There’s a first time for everything, right? That being said, I spent Sunday afternoon at my very first golf tournament. We were lucky enough to be invited to the President’s Cup Golf Tournament, which took place on Liberty State Golf Course in New Jersey. I was pumped. I’ll admit, I do pass up the golf channel on tv, and I’ve never actually played the game, aside from mini golf and a few shots at the driving range, but I do have high hopes of learning some day! I think it’s an amazing lifetime sport.

Millions of text messages, photos, and life events shared, yet we had only met in person once, for a blog collaboration during NYFW. She’s a mover and shaker, working as a fashion editor and stylist, dressing her clients across the globe. From Australia, London, and finally back to the US, my blogger bestie, Haili Pue of All Ze Details, is a tough one to catch. She’s a jet setter; always on the move.
The crowded city streets, of New York Fashion Week are quite the site to say the least. Dull? Never. Your head will spin with an array of colors, patterns, and textures worn by each and every fashionista that stomps your way, so you better slide your sunnies on and work. One look is more extravagant than the next, and after awhile, it all seems like a circus on display. I love to play along, don’t get me wrong, and there’s nothing more inspiring that the runways come to life.
Easy breezy, Sunday stroll? Yes, that would be my normal weekly agenda, but a Sunday during New York Fashion Week? Not so much. It was more like a Sunday, spent scurrying around to the shows. NYFW is the most anticipated week of the year, and the most important display of shows in the fashion industry. Each of the designers showcase their latest and greatest collections, to the editors, press, and style influencers of New York. The fashionistas are dressed to the nines, waiting to see and be seen.
Pumpkin spiced latte season is just around the corner. Are you skipping to Starbucks yet? Well, I’m absolutely not. One thing you may or may not know about me, is that I absolutely despise the cold weather. I’m not a fan of pumpkin spiced lattes, I miss the green leaves once they change color, and flutter to the ground, and I hate sweater season. Bah humbug. Oh wait…wrong season, right?
