Countdown to Labor Day weekend Beauties! Are you traveling over the holiday? Did you make fancy plans? If not, no worries. Today, I’m recapping my favorite places and spaces from our recent trip to Martha’s Vineyard. If you live in NYC, you can get there by train, and ferry in a pinch. Although it takes awhile, it’s great for a last minute get away. You’ll find the island to be quaint, charming, and ever so peaceful. So, buckle up and start to scroll. Here’s my list of must-see destinations to check out while vacationing on the Vineyard.
Do you have a childhood memory you cherish? One that you reflect on, and it gives you butterflies? For me, it’s traveling to Martha’s Vineyard. On our recent trip to the Vineyard, Grant and I spent time exploring a few favorite places that I used to visit with my family many years ago. When I was younger, I remember hoping that I’d be able to bring my future husband, back to explore a place that was so special to me. Although Grant has been to Martha’s Vineyard a few times with my family, this time it was just us, and it was just as dreamy as I imagined.
Beach chairs, colorful towels, and we were off! On a sticky, summer day, we bolted to the beach, feeling the grains of sand between our toes as we ran. The trek felt long, but worth it.
Yep! Hello, ice cream! It was 9am on Saturday morning, when I walked into my favorite gelato cafe, Paciugo, while on our vaca in St. Pete. I’m pretty sure I was the only girl at the crack of dawn, ordering a triple scoop cone of gelato with sprinkles. “Hi sir. I’ll have a waffle cone with 3 scoops, please. I’d like the violet (because it’s purple, obviously), next the mint chip (because it’s green), and then the strawberry (because it’s pink). Oh, and I’d like them scooped in that order. Don’t forget the extra sprinkles. Thanks!” He gave me the strangest look, while all of his other normal customers ordered their morning coffee. Why the specific colors, you ask? Well, for photos of course! It had to coordinate with the outfit, #lifeofablogger. We think about these things.
What’s your “go to” look for a night out on the town? It’s probably a little black dress. Am I right? The classic black dress is one of the best staples you can own in your closet. I’m sure you pair it with a fancy pair of heels, a few accessories and an evening bag. Easy peezy! However, today I’m going to show you 3 ways to style your little black dress for several different daytime looks. The great part about this wardrobe must-have, is that it has so much versatility. So pop a squat, grab a latté, and keep on reading!
One tiny voice made me open my eyes and heart a bit wider, one lovely Sunday afternoon. It just happened to be Valentine’s Day and New York Fashion Week. It was business as usual for us. Instead of focusing on a perfect date, we end up working. Grant was still shooting each of the shows, and I was busy styling a very special outfit, to introduce you to fabulous company which I love, called Style Lend.
Hello holidays! It’s gift giving season and you currently have sugar plums dancing in your head, I’m sure. If you’re anything like me, you walk into stores completely mobbed with people, you love everything, buy nothing, and walk right back out. The twinkle lights are lovely, the music is cheerful, yet the gift lists and shopping can be overwhelming.
From Thanksgiving on the beach, to a fall themed cruise this year, what could possibly be next? Maybe I just should plan a ski trip styled entirely in swimwear. Each of our trips lately have been so much fun, but challenging to style, with a reverse wardrobe for each.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and it always has been. Family is the most important part of my life, and there’s nothing I love more than spending time with them. The holiday is right around the corner and we want to know how you celebrate. What are your favorite traditions? Do you celebrate with family or friends? Are you hosting a Thanksgiving dinner this year? If so, I’ve gathering a few of my favorite serving pieces to make your Thankgiving Day fancy and fabulous. I love these pieces and I hope your guests will too! We have a few, upcoming posts for the holiday so we hope you stay tuned, and celebrate with us. As always Beauties, I’m thankful for your love and support. Wishing you a safe and happy holiday. xx
Two weeks ago, we arrived in Saint Pete for an early birthday celebration weekend with my sister and brother in law, and I was beyond excited. It had been a few months since I had been to Saint Petersberg and I absolutely love it there.
