A Floral Look For A Saint Pete Celebration

August 17, 2015

Two weeks ago, we arrived in Saint Pete for an early birthday celebration weekend with my sister and brother in law, and I was beyond excited. It had been a few months since I had been to Saint Petersberg and I absolutely love it there.

Completely opposite of New York City, Saint Petersberg is a calm, quiet town right on the water, with the cutest boutiques and cafés. The pace there is entirely different from the city. I’m used to rushing everywhere every single day, being pushed and shoved by complete strangers, and feeling like a bit of a mess by the time I arrive at my destination. Don’t get me wrong, of course I love the city, but I do appreciate a break from time to time. Saint Pete was the perfect sunny getaway. Life feels tranquil there, and that was exactly what I needed.

One of my favorite evenings, included dinner at a local wine bar on Beach Drive. If I could live my entire life off of wine and cheese, and it would be perfectly healthy, I would be one happy girl. However, since it’s a bit of an indulgence, I save it for special occasions. That night one was one of them, and it was divine. It was so much fun to celebrate with my sister, brother in law, and Grant that night. I crave time with them always, and it is such a treat to be together. We finished off our lovely evening at The Canopy Lounge, which is my favorite rooftop bar in Saint Pete.

For my evening out, I was styled in a navy, floral dress by Maison Jules. This dress felt easy, breezy, and fun. I didn’t feel constricted at all, and the fit and flare silhouette of the dress allowed my to move freely. Maison Jules has the loveliest dresses, and I found so many beautiful styles with incredible prints from the collection. I accessorized with my favorite pearl statement necklace (similar here), gold cuff bracelet (similar here), and white chandelier earrings (similar here). I wore my sister’s gold rimmed aviators, my favorite, neutral summer Char Mar Sandals, and a quilted Kate Spade Shoulder Bag (similar here).

We had such a fun evening together and I loved every moment. I hope you check out deets and photos from the rest of our trip here. Enjoy your week, beauties. xx
