Cherry Blossom Dreams in a Floral Sundress

Last week’s sunny, Sunday afternoon was perfection. I did the usual; woke up, hit the gym, and got ready for our usual Sunday outing through Central Park. The most amazing part was that the park was bursting with color that day. Everything is in bloom, and the park was buzzing with people, kiddies, and picnics complete with colorful balloons. There are days when the park feels like a complete celebration and Sunday was one of them.

Styled in an easy, breezy floral sundress from the Gap, we set out to enjoy the day. The dress was light weight, and perfect for the sunshine. I accessorized with a Leather Bow Crossbody bag that I fell in love with and resembles Valentino. How adorable is it? I wore my brand new Char Mar Sandals from Ugg, and white rimmed aviators. I added a pearl statement necklace, as well as bracelets from Bleecker and Spring, and Kate Spade to complete my look. We spent the day underneath the cotton candy, pink, cherry blossoms that seemed to fill the park that day. They were everywhere we looked, and they were just magical.

In the evening, I was invited to a friend’s rooftop, and watched the most gorgeous sunset over the city, with my favorite blogger babes. We finished off the weekend, toasting with wine, nibbling on cheese, and laughing together. It’s always the simplest, most spontaneous days that I cherish the most.
