As we count down to 2014, you may be searching for the perfect outfit to wear to your parties and festivities. I’m a beads and sequins girl, so always it’s always fun to add a bit of sparkle to my holiday ensemble. The look I’ve put together includes the beaded, Yumi Kim Ana skirt, a black bodysuit (yes, really), blazer, and black patent Christian Louboutin pumps.
The holiday season is upon us, and you know what that means. Get ready to pull out those suitcases, wrap those presents, and kick back those sparkling stilettos. It’s time to celebrate! For many, you’re still juggling work, with those pre-season holiday parties, right up until Christmas and Chanukkah. It doesn’t stop there. You’ve still got New Year’s to think about. With weeks chalked full of events, I like to plan my day-time and party outfits with simplicity.
The leaves are falling, a chill is in the air, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I couldn’t help but to spend my Saturday, enjoying the crisp beauty of Fall. The day called for a warm cup of hazelnut coffee and a stroll in Central Park. My day was full of happiness, and playing in piles of leaves was just as much fun as I remembered.
Fall is in full swing, and it leaves me inspired by my favorite trends of the season. I have a passion for color, and often choose fashion forward colors to build my wardrobe for each season. From Emerald to Forest, and Army Green, shades of green have been on trend for Fall.
Fall fashion has arrived! Our days have been full of sunshine and surprisingly warm temperatures. After a quick manicure, pedicure, coffee date, and trip to Bloomingdales, I took advantage of the sunshine and met my husband for a picnic in Central Park.
New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is the fashion industry’s chance showcase high fashion on the runways. Held at the tents of Lincoln Center, designers, celebs, stylists, and fashion bloggers deck themselves out, to attend the city’s celebration of style. With all of the shows, lounges, and parties to attend, I scrambled to have outfits prepared for every event.
This Labor Day weekend felt like our own New York stay-cation, as my husband and I celebrated our first anniversary together. We went to The Standard Grill for a delicious brunch, Le Bain for drinks, and topped off our day with a fancy dinner at The Nomad. I highly recommend it, if you’ve never been. The food is absolutely delicious.
It was a lovely evening on Martha’s Vineyard, and we decided to journey to Menemsha Beach, which is famous for its gorgeous sunsets. Ever since I was a child, we made a tradition of spending time at Menemsha Beach. The beach was just as I remembered it, with boats docked at the harbor, soft white sand, gentle ocean waves, and a cool breeze. We laid out our blankets, beach chairs, and unpacked the lobster rolls we picked up from the local shop. We opened a great bottle of wine, and toasted to the beautiful evening.
While vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, we enjoyed the sunny weather and spent time at Lambert’s Cove Beach. The beach was a welcomed change from the Concrete Jungle, otherwise known as Manhattan.
While vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, we spent an evening strolling through Edgartown. It is a beautiful, quaint little town on the water, full of white picket fences, lovely homes, and charming boutiques. The town is so picturesque. We walked through the shops, admired the boats, and dined at a wonderful restaurant called Alchemy.
