I took a quick trip to LA, for some inspiration, shopping and a change of scenery. While New York is always my love, I felt the need for some beachy sunshine in my life.
Inspired by the cool, laid back vibe of LA, I styled an outfit and designed some jewelry pieces to look the part. Denim on denim is one of the hottest trends of the season, and I love it. I paired white jeans, with a floral denim blouse. I also added an acid washed denim vest, and brown wedges. To accessorize, I designed the Belle Layered Necklace, created with several mixed metal chains, white and ocean blue pearls. I also created the White Chain Earrings, as well as the Rosy Chain bracelet. Both were designed with mixed metal chains.The single, Spade Hinge Bangle is by designer, Kate Spade.
My first stop was the Santa Monica Pier, where I dug my toes in the sand, and relaxed on the beach. I checked out the famous hot spot, The Ivy, for a lovely brunch. I loved the endless pitchers of roses on each table. I instantly felt like I walked into a garden party. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect.
The rest of my trip, included shopping on Melrose, dinner at Boa in West Hollywood, lunch at the Grove, and The Black Keys concert. My west cost adventure was a sunny success.
