With the sunny, start of Spring, comes the legendary music festival, Coachella, which takes place this weekend in Palm Springs, California. Music fans swarm in from all over the map, just to catch a glimpse of their favorite bands, jam to their favorite beats, and basically party their pants off, while soaking in the sunshine.
While I won’t be attending Coachella, I do know there is a specific festival style for the soirée. The look is bohemian inspired with mini skirts, shorty shorts, floral prints, flower crowns (which I will never be caught dead in), crop tops (again, no), funky prints, and fancy sunnies (well, obviously). With the help of my sister’s brand new Chloe Bucket Bag (#swoon), I put together a Coachella inspired look. Now, keep in mind that the boho look, is not quite my style, however this is my spin on festival fashion.
I created my look around a statement piece, which was my sister’s, See by Chloe bag, that we gave her for her birthday. She had been lusting over it for at least a year. She sent me multiple photos of it and I knew she dreamt about it. It’s one of the hottest handbag styles of the season, so I don’t blame her. The the off white color is perfect for spring.
I paired the bag with a coral, denim skirt and a crisp, white eyelet top (similar here or here, with a scalloped hem. Denim mini skirts are trending for spring and I definitely love all of the colorful options out there right now I accessorized with gold, leaf earrings (similar here), hammered gold bracelets, and white rimmed aviators (similar here or here). I completed the look with neutral, wedge sandals.
