March is about that time of year when sun seems to shine a little brighter, and we anxiously await those first, glorious days of spring. For me, the excitement comes with the bright new colors and prints in the boutique windows. I am inspired by the latest styles of the upcoming season. This weekend, on a beautiful sunny Saturday, we felt that taste of spring. Central Park was bustling with people enjoying the beautiful weather. I decided to spend the afternoon in my beautiful city, exploring the park and people watching.
I ditched my winter wardrobe and felt playful in pastels. Dressed in my brand new mint blouse, jeans, brown riding boots, and gold necklaces that I designed, I set out to enjoy the day. Feeling fresh and alive in my spring outfit, I grabbed my new Ice Cream Tote bag, which I designed to carry all of my goodies for the day. On my way out of the park, I took a stroll down Madison Avenue to the lovely Ladurée, a famous macaroon shop which originated in Paris. I treated myself to some colorful macarons, which were just as delicious as they were beautiful. A perfectly gorgeous day, complete with a brand new pastel outfit, a Central Park outing, and a sweet French pastry shop was just enough to put a spring in my step, and dust off those winter blues. Spring 2013…Bring it on.
