‘Tis the season for holiday parties, and one of my favorites has been the Vogue Holiday Affair. As part of Vogue’s Blogger Network, we often attend their fancy parties and soirees. They introduce us to brands they know we’d love, and we get the chance to network with so many incredible people in the fashion industry.
On a bitter cold Monday night, I walked the streets of Tribeca, on my way to the event. In the darkness of the evening, I saw the glow of the Bouley Botanical from the street, where the holiday party was held. From the windows, I saw clusters of women with fancy party dresses, glowing lights, and a lively party. As I walked inside, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails were being passed. Bouley Botanical is well known for their fantastic cuisine. Led by top Chef, David Bouley, they use fresh and pure ingredients in their dishes. They grow herbs in the event space, which are used to flavor their creations as well. I tried so many delicious hors d’oeuvres and truly loved them all.
We met with brands such as Hudson Jeans where we saw their latest and greatest denim collection. Vera Bradley’s holiday collection looked beautiful with a fabulous pink pop color, as well basic black, using a quilted leather to add texture to their styles. Blackglama showcased their incredible mink fur coats. We received a Desert Rose fragrance, which I love, by Ne’emah, and were given an amazing Simon gift card. There was also a braid bar, where we had our hair styled by the Garnier stylist team, and learned about their greatest products.
Many thanks to the Vogue team for treating us to a spectacular evening, as always. I loved spending time with my favorite fashionistas, as well as meeting some wonderful new friends. So Beauties, which holiday parties have been your favorites so far? If you are still on the search for holiday gifts, check out some of these amazing brands I’ve mentioned. Cheers to the holiday season, and make sure to celebrate in style!
