I’m a girl in love with color, and I’m currently counting down the days to ditch every black outfit in my wardrobe. I cannot wait to sail through spring with punchy, vibrant colors and flirty silhouettes. You’ll rarely see me choose basic styles or colors, however every once in awhile, a piece comes along, captures my heart, and I just can’t manage to live my life without it.
A few days ago, I stumbled upon this gorgeous black and white, Chanel inspired coat from Laundry by Shelli Segal. Complete with clean, sophisticated lines, gold buttons, and textured fabric, this look seemed like a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I love outerwear that can act as a statement piece all on it’s own. You don’t need to worry about complicated pieces to add; just a few accessories and you’re ready to go.
I styled this coat with leather-like leggings from Express, Vince Camuto Amori ankle boots, and oversized Fendi sunnies, (similar here). For our Sunday outing, we took a stroll down Madison Avenue while window shopping. We stopped off for a glass of champagne and shared a bite to eat. It was the perfect end to our weekend, and the sun even came out! It’s about time.
This Sunday left me dreaming of warmer weather, lighter coats, and spring time strolls to my favorite NYC places and spaces. Hope you had a fabulous weekend, Beauties! xo
