The winter months are upon us and with that comes the unpredictable rainy, snowy weather. As much as I dread the temperatures, I’m loving the fun, fancy cold weather accessories I’ve found this season.
Sorel is a footwear brand that has recently stolen my heart. I’ve never been a girl who dresses practically. I love sparkly, fancy outfits which are rarely weather appropriate. While attending a Vogue style party, I was introduced to Sorel’s Fall/Winter boot collection. Sorel is best known for their waterproof boots. They are perfect for trudging through any sort of crazy weather. We were able to choose the style we liked best, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the Medina II Boot.
The Medina II Boot, is a gorgeous, waterproof, heeled ankle boot. The base of the boot is black rubber. The sole is thick and has a great grip. The upper portion of the boot is made of a water-resistant detachable, cognac leather piece. The heel of the boot is adorned with a stunning gold design detail. This is the perfect waterproof boot. They are incredibly comfortable, and also quite stylish. The black and brown color combination is great because it can be worn with various outfits. I received compliments on these beauties before even leaving my apartment, while wearing them for the first time.
For an afternoon stroll in Central Park, I paired the boots with navy skinny jeans, and a floral, chiffon blouse from Zara. My jacket is by Guess (similar style here).
I accessorized with a lovely, gold monogram necklace and earrings from C. Wonder. They came as a set and they are great for holiday gift giving. The pearl, “Lauren Ring” is from Bleecker and Spring, and the Rhinestone Cocktail Ring is from Express. I carried a handbag by Ivanka Trump, and my Aviator Sunglasses are by Vince Camuto.
Dressed in Fall layers and my new Medina boots, I’m ready for any type of weather. Bring on the puddles and the snowstorm! I’ll just continue to look fancy and weatherproof fabulous, thanks to Sorel’s latest collection. Check the collection and let me know which styles you love the most.
