Sunshine. Something I live for. It lives in the warm rays beaming down on my face. It lives in the hearts of the ones I love. And it lives on, through the spirit of a 5 year old little girl, named Scarlett, who recently received her angel wings.
Scarlett was the daughter of my sorority sister, Holly, who sadly lost her life at the age of five years old. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting little Miss Scarlett, I’m confident that she had the smile and kind heart, of Holly. Through photos, her sweet face and her smile says it all.
In memory of their angel, Holly organized a charity called Scarlett’s Sunshine (If you’d like to donate, click here). The charity is about sharing random acts of kindness to strangers, friends, and family, because seeing smiles across those faces means everything. In support of Scarlett’s Sunshine, I’ve designed some brightly colored tassel earrings which are for sale Monday 8/27 – Monday 9/3. The profits will go towards Scarlett’s Sunshine charity.
