This past Sunday, we celebrated the first day of Spring, with a forecast of snow. Lovely, right? However the sun was shining throughout the weekend, and so I definitely made the most of it. Last week, was crazy with my work schedule, but we did attend a fab magazine launch party for Reserved Magazine x J. Elster pop-up shop. It was hosted by super model and photographer Helena Christensen, model and actress, Brooke Shields, along with film maker and designer Jennifer Elster. I promised myself that I’d hibernate over the weekend, in hopes of getting lots of sleep, a few great workouts, and some cleaning accomplished. Quite the opposite of my plans, it was a jam packed weekend, but full of fun.

Saturday, I took an early spinning class and met a few of my fave girlfriends for brunch at the sweetest spot, Cafe Clover in the West Village. You have to try it! We spent time chatting, laughing, and enjoying a few hours together. I didn’t realize how much I needed it! I loved our afternoon together. When I got home, Grant and I headed out to Bryant Park for a photo shoot, and later went out for date night at a fun, new Mexican restaurant on the Upper West Side, Playa Betty’s. I loved it! We shared guac, tacos, and I sipped on the best margarita on the planet (and boy, did I need that margarita). On our way home, we stopped at Magnolia Bakery for a few late night treats.

On Sunday, I took spinning, and boxing which I haven’t taken for awhile. I dusted off my gloves, and it felt great to box again! I stopped at Bloomies on the way home, to check out some new spring looks, and I fell in love with these Dior sunnies! I want them so badly!

For my favorite look of the weekend, I wore this gorgeous, teal, lace romper (similar here), which is currently on sale. It’s got a lace neckline, and long sleeves which makes it a perfect transitional outfit for spring. As you know, I absolutely love rompers. They are such statement pieces. You don’t need to worry about what else works with your outfit. One piece, and you’re done. Since it was cold, I layered a black, leather bomber jacket (similar here) on top for an edgier look. I wore black ankle boots (similar here), and my duffel YSL bag (similar here). To accessorize, I wore silver bangles (similar Bangles), hoop earrings (similar here), and silver, mirrored aviators (similar here). My look was complete.

Do you have any favorite styles you’ve seen for Spring? We’d love to hear about a few pieces you’re crushing on, so feel free to give us a shout out. Keep your eyes peeled for some fabulous floral and pastel rompers coming your way for the the upcoming season. Wishing you a lovely week, Beauties! xx
