When Grant and I met, we dated long distance for several years. He lived in Kentucky, and I was here in NYC. I would visit his hometown in Kentucky on the weekends. One day, as he drove me around, I noticed a sign that said Versailles. “Hey, you brought me to France,” I teased. Little did I realize, that there’s a Versailles in Kentucky too. I was caught in a daydream, as we drove. Wouldn’t it be oh-so-lovely to visit Versailles in France together one day? It would be quite the dream.
Am I right? Each year, since I’ve lived in New York, we pack our bags for the journey back home for the holidays, however this year, we’ve got something sneaky up our sleeve. Our journey is two fold! Aside from Thanksgiving, and a long weekend with the fam, we’re traveling to a super sneaky, top secret destination for one, giant adventure. We can’t tell you when, we can’t tell you where, but we are beyond excited, and can’t wait to share.

Summer has officially kicked off! I don’t know about you, but I think that’s one fantastic reason to celebrate. I’m ready to kick back, throw on some shades, and… Wait, specifically what shades you ask? Well, I plan on celebrating summer with six of the best possible sunnie styles that I’ve found this season. I’m beyond excited to announce that I’ve teamed up with the popular eyewear brand, Foster Grant this summer, to show you my absolute favorite shades from their collection. I’m crushing over these styles, and I have a feeling that you will love them too.
Do you have a favorite outfit or style you wear on repeat? Mine is Yumi Kim’s Liz Romper. Thankfully for me, Yumi Kim makes this style in a million different gorgeous prints. So no, I don’t exactly wear one romper on repeat. I have a closetful of Liz Rompers to choose from. Believe me when I tell you, that you’ll fall in love with this style and will buy every single print as well.
Several new styles have caught my eye for Spring, and the midi skirt is one for them. The midi skirt, is a full, mid length skirt, which lays a few inches below the knees. I have to admit, when I first saw the style, I was hesitant. I didn’t think I could pull off the look since I’m a shortie. I’ve seen these skirts in every store, designed with multiple colors and prints. Many of my friends have been wearing them and I’ve admired the look on other bloggers as well.
