Spring has sprung and it’s time to celebrate! As I peruse my closet, I wonder what I really wore last spring. I’m definitely ready for a whole new, fancy wardrobe and I hope you are too. I took the liberty of finding some pieces that inspire me, and I that I think you’ll love as well. The pastel colors are just perfect for the season. I’m also loving bright brilliant colors as well as intricate prints. I have an accessory obsession, so you’ll find a few fun pieces to play with. Happy shopping, Beauties! xx
Pop. Clink. Fizz! We are poppin’ bottles and celebrating 2 years since the launch of Sleepless in Sequins today! Oh, what a two years it’s been. With hundreds of styles featured, numerous events supporting our favorite brands, runway shows, and the gift of working with my very best friend and husband, I feel lucky for the experiences we’ve shared over the past two years.
Do you have a favorite outfit or style you wear on repeat? Mine is Yumi Kim’s Liz Romper. Thankfully for me, Yumi Kim makes this style in a million different gorgeous prints. So no, I don’t exactly wear one romper on repeat. I have a closetful of Liz Rompers to choose from. Believe me when I tell you, that you’ll fall in love with this style and will buy every single print as well.
Hello Beauties! I hope you had a wonderful Easter/Passover holiday this past weekend. I was lucky enough to travel to St. Petersberg, Florida with Grant, to celebrate my sister’s 30th birthday bash. We had multiple events planned from fancy dinners, champagne sunsets on the beach, pool days, celebratory brunches, tennis matches, etc. You name it, we did it. In true Sleepless in Sequins fashion, every single day was a celebration, and my sister loved every moment. I knew that packing would be a challenge, with so many fabulous summer options. The weather here in NYC has still been cold, so I could barely wait to rescue my spring looks from my closet.
I’m a girl in love with color, and I’m currently counting down the days to ditch every black outfit in my wardrobe. I cannot wait to sail through spring with punchy, vibrant colors and flirty silhouettes. You’ll rarely see me choose basic styles or colors, however every once in awhile, a piece comes along, captures my heart, and I just can’t manage to live my life without it.
I recently had the incredible opportunity to see the show, Queen of the Night, compliments of the beauty and wellness company, Priv. Priv is an app, which allows clients to book beauty appointments, health and spa treatments, and manicures/pedicures on demand through their phone. By booking the appointment, users are able to choose their service, review and decide on the professional, select a time, location, and pay online. It’s pretty amazing. With just the touch of a button, you can have your hair styled, a makeover, or a personal training season from the luxury of your own home. Priv is currently located in NYC, Los Angeles, and London. I’d highly recommend using this app for any of your beauty and wellness needs. I absolutely love it.
Several new styles have caught my eye for Spring, and the midi skirt is one for them. The midi skirt, is a full, mid length skirt, which lays a few inches below the knees. I have to admit, when I first saw the style, I was hesitant. I didn’t think I could pull off the look since I’m a shortie. I’ve seen these skirts in every store, designed with multiple colors and prints. Many of my friends have been wearing them and I’ve admired the look on other bloggers as well.
It’s New York Fashion Week, and what could possibly be better than attending the fabulous runway shows? Being primped, pampered, and styled by TRESemmé’s expert stylists before heading to the shows. The TRESemmé lounge is actually located inside of the tents, and the hair styling is complimentary for fashionistas attending the shows. The styling team created an incredible range of looks, from intricate braids, curls, beach waves, and up dos. A few of my favorite fashion bloggers had TRESemmé styles that I absolutely loved! Check out Kendall of Styled Snapshots, Amber from Barefoot Blonde, Ariel from Something Navy, and Julia from Gal Meets Glam.
It is that time of year again. The temperatures keep dropping and the snow continues to fall. The fashionistas, editors, and stylists of New York, dress in their most fabulous outfits and Uber over to Lincoln Center, where the famous tents of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week stand tall. Yes, it’s the one and only, New York Fashion Week. It is quite a scene over at the entrance of the tents, with men and women, shuffling in and out, to see designers present their latest and greatest Fall/Winter 2015 collections. There are countless photographers waiting outside, snapping away with larger than life cameras, in order to catch the perfect street style shots. The men guarding the doors of the tents seem to have all the power in the world, just for a moment, as you just hope to make it through with flying colors.
In the middle of winter, it’s definitely easy to get caught up wearing the same baggy, cozy pjs, using your basic makeup colors over and over again, until their gone, and spritzing your usual go-to fragrances. However Valentine’s Day happens once a year, and it’s fun to spice things up a bit. There’s no better time than now to splurge on a few pretty little things whether it’s for your love, or to celebrate yourself. Why not? They make you feel special, desired and all around beautiful. You deserve it! So whether you celebrate with your love, your besties, or yourself, make sure to treat yourself like a queen. Here are a few of my favorite Valentine’s finds this season. Enjoy Beauties!
