Valentine’s Day is upon us and I’m sure you’re planning your perfect date. Whether it be a solo spa day, girl date with your besties, or a romantic evening with the one you love, it’s always important to treat yourself. My favorite Valentine’s dates are spent at home with Grant, cooking together, whipping up sweet treats, and watching our favorite movies.
This year, I’ve got a different idea planned, which involves a super sweet Valentine’s brunch together. I’m so excited about it. If you don’t want to go out out the town to celebrate, this is the perfect idea for a lovely celebration. I plan to make heart shaped pancakes made with cookie cutters and pancake mix from Williams Sonoma, topped with strawberries and whipped cream. We include champagne in all of our celebrations, so of course I can’t leave that out.
Macaron Café was sweet enough to treat us to their special Valentine’s macaron collection. Their macarons are one of my favorite desserts and the perfect treat to end our lovely brunch. The color burst of pastries are presented in the most beautiful box as well. They make wonderful Valentine’s gifts, and they are an incredible dessert to serve at a party you may be hosting. These little beauties are absolutely delicious, and they come in a variety of flavors. My favorites are Caramel “Fleur De Sel”, Pistachio, Vanilla, Cappuccino, Nutella, and Coconut. Try these delicious sweets for your Valentine’s celebration. I hope you love them as much as I do.
For our tablescape, I decorated with pink roses in silver, cylinder vases, and white hydrangeas in a gold cylinder vase. I love the mix of pink and white, and it adds brilliant color to our table.
