Last week, on a beautiful summer evening, we were invited to Brahmin’s Wearable Art Party held at Hotel Giraffe’s rooftop in Midtown, Manhattan. Fashion bloggers Grace Atwood, and Jess Ann Kirby hosted the event. Also in attendance were Jessie Artigue, Cara Kovacs, Jessica Sturdy, and Lisa Rosado.
The idea behind the event was to showcase Brahmin’s gorgeous Fall 2014 Collection as wearable art. The handbags were absolutely stunning. They were displayed, as a museum exhibition. The deep, rich colors and textures of the Fall bags were breathtaking. I couldn’t decide which bag I loved best. Colorful, art inspired cocktails were served throughout the evening, as well as delicious hors d’oeuvres.
This past weekend I hosted a Fashion Blogger Summer Picnic in the park. The weather was perfect, and we had a fabulous group of fashion bloggers in attendance, including Cara Kovacs, Leslie Marin, Aishley Tromp, Kathleen Osborne, and Blair Agostinelli.
The girls each brought munchies to snack on for our picnic. I created a cheese platter, and veggie and fruit platter full of fun, delicious dips. We shared chips, as well as my favorite guacamole. The best treat of the afternoon was our cupcakes by Baked by Melissa. They are small enough to leave you feeling guilt free, and great because you can try a fabulous variety of flavors as well. These bite size cupcakes are adorable and packed with flavor. Our sweet, little cupcakes didn’t last very long, and they were worth each bite.
I recently had the pleasure of attending the Ladies NYC Sip and Shop event in collaboration with Rebecca Minkoff. The event was held in Minkoff’s NYC showroom. Many young, professional women attended to hear Rebecca speak about being an influential female designer in New York City, and giving back to the community in charitable ways.
I recently had the honor of hosting Elie Tahari’s Girls’ Night Out event at their 5th Avenue store. We spent several weeks planning, and styled two different party looks to promote the brand, as well as the event.
The evening of the party arrived, and I was so excited. As our guests entered the event, they were served wine, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres. The girls mingled and shopped the night away.
I am excited to announce that I will be hosting Elie Tahari’s exclusive Girl’s Night Out Event on Thursday, July 17th from 5:00 to 8:00pm. You’re invited for an evening of cocktails, hors d’ouevres, shopping, and mingling with other fashionistas. You will be able to enter to win a $200 gift card as well. The party will be held at the Elie Tahari store at 501 5th Avenue, 2nd floor, between 41st, and 42nd Street. I hope you’ll join me, and kick back those heels for a summer shopping celebration. Make sure to rsvp at etcompanystore@elietahari.com or call 212-398-2622. See you there, Beauties!
I recently had the honor of hosting a shopping party at Cynthia Rowley, along with my friend and fellow blogger, Cara Kovacs of The Stylephile. The event was held at Rowley’s Madison Avenue Boutique.
