The crowded city streets, of New York Fashion Week are quite the site to say the least. Dull? Never. Your head will spin with an array of colors, patterns, and textures worn by each and every fashionista that stomps your way, so you better slide your sunnies on and work. One look is more extravagant than the next, and after awhile, it all seems like a circus on display. I love to play along, don’t get me wrong, and there’s nothing more inspiring that the runways come to life.
From a Crayola colored, ombre tassel jacket, patterns on patterns, fall florals, 90’s grunge, and head to toe monochromatic looks, I truly saw it all. There were bursts of color everywhere I looked, and I loved it. Each of the ensembles were true statement looks. Street style seemed especially trend driven this season, and you can check out the top fierce and fabulous looks here.
I chose fall florals, splashed with color, for my own statement look, while heading to the Leanne Marshall show (you can check out my favorite runway looks here). I wore a floral printed dress, complete with jewel tones, and layered with a leather, moto jacket (similar here), sassy ankle boots and my favorite sunnies (similar here). I finished off my look with a Furla cross body bag (similar here), and hoop earrings.
Throughout the day, I stopped by the Maybelline Lounge at the NYFW pop up shop, in the Meatpacking District to check out the hottest colors in their cosmetics collection this Fall. I chose several that I love, including a shimmering smokey grey, metallic eyeliner, a Master Chrome Highlighter, and a Berry lip color, which I adore for Fall.
I also stopped by the Reebok Lounge, which you know is my absolute favorite (Do you remember this fitness look, that I styled wearing their Dance Strappy Bra, in last year’s fitness post?). I got to take a sneak peak at the fabulous, sporty new looks, coming out for Spring/Summer 2018, including fancy, printed leggings splashed in black, white, as well as the cool colors they had to offer. Their collection has got me motivated to say the least.
So babes, what are your favorite looks on the streets for fall? I’d love to know your latest and greatest. NYFW was a true whirlwind, but so much fun to catch up with my favorite blogger babes. More on that soon! Cheers to a fab week, my fashionistas. xx
