It is Fashion Week here in New York City, and fashion shows are in full swing. During fashion week, the focus tends to be on the looks that you see walking the runway, the celebrities that attended, and the parties that were held after. Many people may not realize, how much hard work and preparation goes in to planning a major New York Fashion Week Event.
New York Fashion Week is here and it seemed to bring the cold weather, sleet, and snow. This time of year, dark colors tend to dominate our wardrobes. After a few months, it leaves me longing for sunshine and brighter colors. With a quick glance through my closet, I realize that winter white and a whimsical print is the perfect solution to update to my look.

I woke up Friday morning to a snowstorm in NYC! The ground was covered in beautiful, white, powdery snow. I instantly felt like a child again. My heart was racing. What was I going to do with my free fun day? There’s only so much eating and shopping you can do in NYC, and while I love doing both, I wanted this day to be fun and adventurous. I grabbed my coat, and headed out to play in snowy Central Park.
