Color Coat Your Fall Look With Eliza J Outerwear

October 26, 2015

All black everything. I can only take it for so long. I begin the Fall season embracing the color, and by February, I want to cry. Sure, there are days when I feel amazing in a little black dress, or leather skirt, however after awhile it can feel like a uniform. If you’re like me, and you crave color, I’ve come up with a few great ensembles to lighten and brighten your fall wardrobe, while still looking appropriate for the season.

Fancy In Fall Fur Featuring Eliza J Outerwear

October 18, 2015

We just closed out a beautiful Fall weekend in NYC. The air feels crisp, the leaves are beginning to turn, and I can’t go anywhere without a warm cup of hazelnut coffee; mainly to keep my hands warm. We strolled through Central Park this weekend per usual, and as I looked up, the leaves fell from the trees and gracefully floated to the ground in an array of fall colors.

Styled by TRESemmé for Day 4 of NYFW

September 15, 2015

Do you ever think about stylizing your outfits with a theme behind each one? I once knew a girl that came up with a completely different style to wear every single day. It was as if each outfit was a costume. I loved it, and she inspired me to use creativity in my everyday wardrobe.

A Little White Dress For A New York Adventure

September 1, 2015

Living in New York has made me a bit too comfortable. I’m used to having everything at my fingertips, and walking to find anything I need. I’ll shamelessly admit that if the train ride is too far, or I need to cross town, which means taking several trains to arrive at my destination, I just won’t make the journey. It’s that bad. So I basically forget about the entire East Side of Manhattan. I’ve gotten so used my perfect little neighborhood, that I forget to explore anything else. I’m often made fun of, because I won’t even leave the city unless it’s by plane, with the extreme exception of visiting our besties who currently live in Jersey. Only for them, I suppose.

A Twirl Worthy Dress For A Very Special Occasion

August 30, 2015

Her name was Norma. I fell in love with her the moment I laid eyes upon her. She was everything I had dreamed of, since about the age of five. Sophisticated and elegant, she had a sort of grace about her. You see, Norma was the first wedding dress I fell in love with exactly three years ago. Of course, I didn’t name her Norma. The bridal gown was designed by Watters, and I first met her at Lovely Bride, now located in Tribeca. Many girls dream of their wedding dress, their entire lives and of course I was one of those girls. Norma had me at hello. I wanted a dress that I could twirl in, and Norma sure took me for a spin. She was the very first gown I tried on, and the one that walked me down the aisle on my wedding day.

Fall Fashion Trends Featuring Elaine Turner

August 25, 2015

Oh, the power of social media. Call it fate, call it style inspiration, or a slight case of Instagram obsession, but I recently met a brand new blogger bestie. On a night spent tossing and turning, I gave up on the tossing and reached for my phone (generally a terrible idea). During my sleepless nights, I could be doing something educational such as reading, however I choose to endlessly scroll through Instagram, and chalk it up to trend research.

Accessorizing With MCM Handbags

July 29, 2015

This past spring marked my eleventh year in New York. My life and journey in fashion here has been one wild ride. There are always the days that I crave more, and others where I kick my feet up and reflect upon what I’ve accomplished here. Blogging allows me to attend special events and collaborate with brands that continuously inspire me.

Summer Weekends in a Little Lace Dress

June 1, 2015

Summer weekends in the city are a complete treat. The city empties out, as people leave for their planned vacations. There are some days when the emptiness bothers me, and other days when New York City feels like my own giant playground. That being said, I am beyond excited for several months full of sunshine. Having an August birthday makes me a summer baby, and it’s 100% when I’m my happiest.

Pop. Clink. Fizz! We are poppin’ bottles and celebrating 2 years since the launch of Sleepless in Sequins today! Oh, what a two years it’s been. Saks Press Day & Gift Guide

December 19, 2014

Holiday shopping is in full effect and the stores here in NYC are absolutely packed with holiday shoppers. However, that holiday cheer seemed to fade for me, while standing in line just to walk down the street on Fifth Avenue. These shoppers are no joke! I love the spirit of giving, and of course shopping, so I was beyond excited to be invited to Saks Fifth Avenue’s Press Day.
